New Challenge for Lost Coast Designs

Hello everyone.. I'm going to make this supper short today.  I'm posting a few photos of my new stamp challenge for Lost Coat Designs.. They have 2 going on right now, the numbers challenge and the new tamp release event.( link on my page if you want to check it out) btw they have some super cool new stamps coming right now.. yea :-)   any way this is just an index card. I use a stencil for the background on it in the green and the rest I stamped on paper that I had prepainted and just cut them out and put everything together till I got what I liked.  Easy. I just played pretty much.   Well enough.. here you go.

New Stamp Challenge from Lost Coast Designs

Hello everyone.  It has been a wee bit crazy around my house to say the least..lol  But I will not get into that.  I'm getting straight to the point. I have made a tag for the New Stamp Release Challenge for Lost Coast Designs.
 

I have to say this was a fun tag to make.  With this stamp you have so many options .... I stamped this 2 times..   colored the pieces and cut out just the parts I wanted and just glued them on to the plain one on card stock.  Gel penned the the dots then glued her on to my tag and cut the extra off when I got her where I wanted her. Then I used the phases from Lost Cost also and cut them out of card stock and glued them on also.   Wa La.  

Just added the green fluff at the top and all done.

New craft room goodies.

Hi ya  and hope everyone is off to a great day or end if that is what your doing.   Here is my new goodie that my Daughter Tera made for me..  A cool crow and awesome looking witch stencil.  I love them.  And so Dose Same I guess. 

 He dose enjoy being in my way.. unlike the others... well not true We have a foster cat that is always in my face.. lol    She is so funny.   And a wee bit cross eyed.  lets see if I can get her face on here.

 Oh here let me just take one right now..

What was going on today.. roof

Hello everyone..  Still working on the roof here today.. but I am glad to say ..  I think it is all done !!  no more leaking into my craft room.   Now let me explain..  this is a NEW  roof just a few years ago.  And I guess this side they didn't fix or cover.. or pull up any thing.. so this is what it looked like under the shingles.   grrr...  and OMG !!!

 

Think that may explain a little bit of what was going on.  Still in shock a little too.

 This is what we can see .. normally.  This is also the size of my cozy craft room.   yep its small.

But I also feel blessed to just have one.  I could take over the bigger side now that all the kids are gone.. but not sure if I want to do all that.  lol  

 

 

And this.. this is my hubby who is NOT to be on the roof, lol

ATC Challenge for May at Lost Coast Designs

Good day my friendly peeps.
This ATC is for the May Challenge at Lost Coast Designs.
  Well what I have here is my new stamps that I just got from lost Coast Designs,  and I love them.
There are 3 of them on this ATC.  The word stamps that say Dream with the definition that follows.  The spider web stamp that I stamped over the words.  Then the totally cute cat that I stamped on card stock and cut out.  Colored it to my liking and then glued to the ATC card.  Easy as that.

This is the other adorable cat stamp that I got from them too.  It is also on an ATC.

Play time

Today was just a simple play day. 

Nothing has to be perfect. That is a hard thing to do.. not to make the face perfect or the arms.  Just play with it.. and have fun ... and enjoy what your doing. 

 

 

In this one I had and idea of what I wanted, and it was killing me not to make her face perfect. 

Long story short.. when I was done .. I like it.  And this one I had lots of hits and comments on it on my instagram.  I was shocked.

what we see is not always what other people see.

 

 

I used bits for the trim, watered down paint on background and some regular cheep paint on the rest.

But then I dropped the stamp on the face and I had to roll in a different direction. So that really put the saying into work.

WOYWW (what's on your Work desk Wednesday), New Haul, Rubber stamps

Well my daughter and I went to Zaor this past weekend to the Stamp Yard Sale..  woooo   that is just a we bit crazy!  People squished in little building trying to get all the goodies before the other.  I will have to say it was a bit much again this year. And hot in the building..... I chose to go out side for a while and let them sort it out amongst them self's.  lol    But still was able to get lots of goodies my self and I'm sure saved some money doing so.  The glitters all brand new  was .25 each.  and the most costly was the 2 sided Longaberger basket at 5.00 and the small one at 3.00.  The rest were a steal at .25 and up as you can see marked on most.   Here is some photos.

 

LOL.. I see I have missed a few stamps too,  they must be upstairs already.

Hello Tubie.

 Im going to be a bit of a photo hug today. I have a lot to share.  First my daughter and I went to the Akron  Adventures in stamping show again this year.. wooo spent way to much money.  But you cant take it with you and it only comes around once a year.   Ok ok   I hate that this photo is blurry.. but at least I have them and that's great. :-)   But We got to meet Dyan and she is just as nice in person as she is on line. 

   So I wont show all the goodies right now.. cause I have a big mess !!!  But we all know messes are fun.    I did have time to make a  card for my sister today and play with that.   The next BIG thing is Tera's stamp came in... her stamps that she made for Viva Las VegaStamps...   and they are awesome.    The phone booth is huge and they all stamp great!!!  And FYI  Dyan has big red phone booths in her dress... guess what will be going with that.  Tee Hee.    Oh so many things going on in my head right now.   But you should check them out.

New MMA Art Journing Page.

This is the new page that I have gotten done.  Yippie..  I am way behind, you see what I do is toss all the stuff in a small tub.. In this case one with my sons name on it. I have 4 tubs going on at the moment, each person has their name on it... and so I don't misplace things they go right in the tub till I can get to them at a later date. Im good at misplacing things.  This tub is getting full so I thought I better get on it.  So here is a few photos of it and the  how to's.           

  

 I found paper that I though matched  the best.  The photos I but out and clued on the sheet after playing with them to see how I could get the best fit.  
Then I did the shading.. you can see better in this close up.

 

 

The shading was done using the Portflio oil pastels. I love them! The are simi soft and work great with water. I lightly drew around the photo's and then with a damp brush blended it into shading.

let me add in there a little goes a long way.

Once again it's time to join Julia, our beloved head Desker at What's On Your Work desk? 

 

What I have to day to share is a pocket card.   This is a fast and cute little I love you or just thinking about you card.  Great to stuff in a coat pocket or lunch box. :-)

 

 

And just because slides out from behind the cup cake. This was so easy to do and fun.  I think I may make some just to take with me places and just leave them laying around.

 I mean who doesn't love a cup cake.

Fun Tags any one can make.

Fun Tags any one can make.

This is something any one can do. You can cut your tag any size or shape you like.. it's your tag so make it how you want it.  Then you can use anything you want.. that's the fun part.

Ok well I wanted to make tags while I was in the hotel in SC..I didn't pack much stuff this time. This is card stock and some stamps that was in a pack ( easy to take ) and a few ink pads and a bottle of spray ink. I took Glimmer mist with me this time. And with limit stuff I was forced to make something on the wild side with lots of colors.. I like and I love them.  I love the bright bold and shininess of the tag. 
 What do you think?

 

My ink was Tim Holtz so I could use it as a water paint ..hinda..   I stamped the color on my work mat .. added a little water ant then  rubbed the card in it.  Who knew what I was going to end up with.  I will say the water made my card stock kind puff up and I didn't like that, but it all turned out well in the end.  Then I let them dry in the window. I could have used the

 

 

the hair dryer but I didn't.  Any way then I stamped away.  When I got what I liked I used a white gel pen to color in things and the green pen I had in my bag.  Last I sprayed it with the golden Glimmer mist. Then they are done.  Now the one on the right.. the butter fly is stamped on another piece of paper and cut out and them glued to the tag for a 3 D look .

 Just play... you never know what you will come up with.
